Welcome to Sailingfrog<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This blog is a build journal of my various boat projects. I live in the middle of Wyoming and really like sailboats. I own a Westerly Centaur, which I am restoring for my retirement. I\u2019m also building an Iain Oughtred designed Wee Seal with the intention of sailing with my wife and kids around the local lakes. I have some sail experience and have sailed a few sailboats. I built a sail canoe first from easily obtained materials. Next, I had a folding dinghy, which I rigged to sail. After that, I bought a small racing dinghy. It was fun but a little wild for the unpredictable winds on the local lake. I hope my new project will be a lot safer and more fun for the family. You can read an intro written by my daughter that gives an interesting perspective of my projects. If you have stumbled onto this site and know others who would be interested, please share<\/strong>.
