I finally finished the planking on MEA. While bending the last set of strakes into place I cracked them both right near the ends. Not catastrophic though I\u2019ll just have to grind out a little of the ply and replace it with fiberglass. The quality of plywood I can get here doesn\u2019t like to be bent and twisted. In addition to finishing the planking I also started trimming the ends of the strakes and smoothing the inner stem in preparation for putting on the outer stem and then the keel and skeg. I\u2019m really excited to get to these next steps as it gets me closer to splashing her. I\u2019m close to finishing filling in all the little gaps where the initial epoxy wasn\u2019t enough to fill them.
