This happened on my last trip out. I was covering for another driver who\u2019s truck broke down while on a load. I took his load and delivered it to the place in Texas. While waiting to deliver my ac broke in the middle of the night. So I got little sleep and it was very hot the next day. After unloading I got a load going back to where the broke down driver was. When I went to pick up the load it was crazy hot and I\u2019m not built for working in 90 degrees with 90% humidity. I can say it about killed me. When I went in to get my paperwork the lady at the desk asked of I was alright. I told her about my ac not working and that I was feeling a little rough. She gave me a ice cold bottle of water and one that was frozen for later, she also gave me a gift bag and said it was driver appreciation day. I said thanks as I went back to my little hell. I didn\u2019t think to look in it until later. When I got stopped for the night I felt pretty rough open windows and fast driving only do so much for keeping one cool in that kind of heat. When I opened up the bag I found all of these things and a card thanking me. Each gift had a little message attached to it. It definitely made a bad day seem tolerable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
