My adventures learning to sail, building boats and sailing.

Well I managed to squeeze a little of boat work in at the beginning of the month but I got busy working and forgot to post the pictures. I made the patterns for the 3rd strake one day and cut and glued them as well. Then the after letting the epoxy set over night I installed them the following day. I also received the properly scaled plans from Straydog Boatworks. Thanks so much to Robert Ayliffe for answering my emails and also for sending me the tee shirt. There were some small departures from the measurements of the plans and my boat but I think I’ll chalk it up to builders creative license. I’m fairly driven to get a functional boat so it may not be a work of art when I’m finished but it should sail all the same. All of the pictures were of the end of the day no process pictures.

Thanks to Bart for pointing out that I haven’t posted in a while.
